Echo Vs Monty Pr

My Echo is a dual disc. :-

Just fitted my shizzle last night.

Echo definately, my mate had the Monty, it was shit and it cracked. The geo was shite as well and it flexed like mad.

Yeh it's sweet now, apart from the disc rubs.

I'd much rather have the Echo, I've ridden both and my brothers Echo was defintely nicer than the Monty.

Oh and for all the people saying they'd rather have the Monty for comps because it's lighter? It's not really. According to TartyBikes it is 9.425kg, well my brothers bike weighed in at just over 9.5kg. Just. So the weight isn't really an issue.

The geo is also quite similar, the Monty feeld like it has a relatively high BB rise and feels shorter, (IMO), even though they measure very similar.

So you can get them both double disc, they both weigh almost the same, and they have quite similar Geo, but they ride very different for some reason.

The Echo is much stiffer IMO, you can really fee the difference when riding each bike, so this might be why the ride so different, I don't really know.

I think I would go with the Echo Lite. I'm not down with the rear disc thing yet. Too afraid I'll screw it up bad! But the Monty's feel really good! The Echo does too. Echo Lite for me on this one though. As I ride more street than comp cause I don't get to many comps any more.
