matt rushton
If they are square taper then it will have proberly rounded off. And yes you will need a new arm if this has happend.Matt Rushton

CC12345678910
u need a new arm mate. If it's a left arm my trick is to use a steel one (the ones covered in plastic) off a supermaket scrapper i found in a backstreet until i can afford new cranks. Cost me f**k all too. Vee
well id like to point out, he said his pedal wobbles! do you mean your crank arm? if its your crank arm then possibly, but if not its your pedals, bearings are possibly worn and you should get new ones

tom jersey
Square taper is common to round off etc. Isis the more expensive option but in my opinion a hell of a lot better.

CC12345678910
Like i said earlier, find a dumped bike & get the crank puller out...
Tomm
What is actually wobbling? The pedal on the crank, or the crank on the bottom bracket? Try and explain a bit better and you're more likely to get the right answer. If the pedal's wobbling, it will just be the bearings. Unless you've cross-threaded the pedal at some point I doubt it's the pedal threads.
Adam-Griffin
Iv got an arm if you want it ?Adam
nek0
Mine's doing the same, tried with different crank bolts but the drive side is shot. The splines themselves are worn, looking at the teeth some of them are worn in an angle so the crank moves towards that empty space But another friend of mine told me to shove a piece of metal for time being. Not sure how critical it is but with the FFW the crank moves 1~2mm sideways... ManxTrialSpaz
well..... just found out the the bearings have gon on the pedal... So i guess i have to get a new pedal right? Wrong?Yup. Just buy some new pedals and if stuff still wobbles, either you're being fussy or it wasn't your pedals that are broken
