Personally, I'd say stick with the sony for a little while let...Sony will release something new and spectacular again soon, its been too long! lol.

Although it'll more than likely have the same operating system as the W880i so if you're bored with that phone, you might want to change to a nokia. I've never played with the phone, but it is a Nokia so it should be very good. No doubt someone will have it on here though :)

slow as f**k, buggy as hell, and for anything >£50 a month, you'll probably have to pay for the phone.

most people go on about the camera, which in itself is pretty good, but it's a phone, not a camera. The battery life is a pile of shit, and unless you're a tard who wanders round like a street hooligan listening to music on his phone, then i can't see much real desire for one.

there are a real lack of decent themes/applications for it and because symbian is a nonce it's shitting hard to write your own for.

but 'part from that, i like mine.

hmmmm well the good points are:

the camera, 5 megapixel, but it dont take photos of moving objects and expect to get a good photo

the video camera if good for a phone, its 35 frams per second and 640x480

the mp3 player is quite handy but all phones now have that, well nearly all phones

few bad points i dont like.....big thing the battery dies within a day,

the sat nav u have to be conected to the internet to download maps, but it has wifi so cuts down on costs

takes alot of time to fully working the phone and understand eveyrthing it does

to be honest i wana get rid of mine, im not entirely happy with it, oh and dont get it on t-mobile they are having alot of connection problems and seem to cut of n say connection problem and thngs along that line

my mate and his bird both have one, id say they were the best phones out at the moment if you dont mind the the size of them.

there really easy to function and the media player is just as easier than an i pod to use, cant comment on battery life.

they even have a bar code scanner haha, couldnt get it to work though but pretty clever all the same

I have one. To make the battery last 3 days for me, i turned off the 3G which stops it searching between signals. Its the best phone ive owned so far, and ive had lots lol.

Music player is spot on, the equalizer is immense. CAmera is mint.

Has like 300 menus though which gets annoying.

sometimes though on mine it freezes mid menu, taken it to the shop, got a software update and its spot on now.

People moanin about it just dont know how to use it.

Im also on t-mobile, no connection problems what so ever. I must be the lucky one then.

Whats the downside of turning off the 3G? and what version was the software update as i might get one soon.

And btw i charge my phone almost every night anyway.

si-man, you must be a silent hit man, i.e never on the phone, mine will never last more than 2 days, with regular use, its like a day and a half. with bluetooth and 3g turned off.

i really like mine, be pretty much perfect if it wasnt for the battery life.

bloke up there saying about the maps, just download the whole of the uk on ur home computer(google nokia map loader) and stick it on ur phone, best way.

as for downside of turning off 3g, no video calling, slow internet. pretty much it as far as i can see.

I use my phone all the time at work, never off it.

Always got the music player on aswell, on like 40% vol.

I dont use the internet anyway, as its slower than using dial up, takes the f**kin piss. I had web an walk free for a month, and to tell the truth it wa shit.

Good thing about this phone, is that you can buy tv packages like sky sports or kerrang, scuzz etc, and play them through your tv via some lead, only a £5er aswell.

I like the fact aswell that it has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack so you dont have to use the shitty ones that come with phones.

ahh yeah, its a symbian so when your at the home screen, HOLD the menu button down and a little list will pop up with all the applications that are open. So just press C on which ones you wanna close, its about 1000000000 times quicker
