Barbara Logan-Price Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 Monty had 2.7" tires out for about a month but the stopped making them as they were to fat wouldnt fit into most frames and allowed very little wheel adjustment. cleanbikes Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 We had th 2.7 wide tyres in stock for about a year, then when the Eagle Claw tyres came out they stopped doing the 2.7's. basher Posted September 18, 2007 Report Share Posted September 18, 2007 If i remember rightly, the tarts measured one up and the actual width came out slightly smaller than a standard 2.5. Dont quote me on it as that was a conversation along time ago with dave and i may have got it worng but im pritty sure thats what he said.
