Finale of the world cup has finally took place to Melsungen in Germany this weekend. Bikes in Motion, organisers of this final UCI world cup in Melsungen with MSC Melsungen makes it big...

In 26 ", Kenny Belaey took his revenge and won with 14 points, in front of the World champion Vincent Hermance ( 18 ) and Giacomo Coustellier ( 20 )... He won logically at the same time the World cup 2007, in front of Giacomo Coustellier, the second, and Vincent Hermance, third. In 20 ", Benito Ros, world champion titular, won Melsungen and Dani Comas the World cup 2007...

Kenny Belaey...

I took off with the maximum of 5 in the first section, same as last week…. This time this helped me to become very aggressive and to go for it more than ever. It continued well with one clean after the other. Finally Vincent and I arrived at the last section, which was also the most tricky one and I was 2 points ahead. So he needed to take a risk if he wanted to win, so he did and crashed, so suddenly I was 7 points ahead, even a crash was ok (...).
