Kieran@ZSClothing
What he has done is configured his ipod to a computer other than his therefor when he plugs it in, it will wipe the ipod and but only the songs on his computer on the ipod, thus losing his songs. I have no idea how to fix this but this is whats happening if any of you need to know.Adam
Echo-Scott
Seeing as I don't have an ipod I wouldn't know how to fix it but just thought that the instructions are there for a reason.

stevenjenkins.klb.
I'm not sure but i've heard if you plug the ipod in without itunes open then open my computer and save the songs already on your ipod to your computer then transfer the songs to your ipod along with your new songs. Give that a try and see if it works.

johnglazer
Here's what you need to do:-Plug your iPod into your computer-In iTunes, click on your iPod, it will bring up a picture of your iPod and the categories "iPod", "Version", and "Options"-Under "Options", make it so that the box for "Manually manage music and videos" is checked. You will then have to manually drag songs to your iPod when you want to add them, but you will be able to get music from other people's computers easily. When this box is unchecked, it will automatically delete any songs that are on your iPod, but not in your iTunes.
