Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 They are fairly easy to put in and can help with chain length problems, but they have a tendency to fail.I have tried three diferent times to use them, both on 1/8" chains and 3/16" chains, they failed each and every time.Some of the times the chain has stretched to a point that I can do without the half link, on my current mod set up I cannot use a fresh standard chain.
