Generally, when people go on at length about an ambition they have, then show no signs of any change in that ambition, then it tends to suggest that they're still striving for it. I'm aware that you'll do pretty much anything to try and get out of these many situations you get into on trials forum though, so I assume this means that for this thread you're now purely riding for the enjoyment of riding, something which you seemed to be fully unable to get your head around a very short time ago.

How remarkable.

So you start chatting aload of bullshit because i come up with smarter reply than you ? Lmao.

Chatting bollox.

I can change what i think about something whenever i want. There's no laws agaisnt this so shh.

No, Danny, I was pointing out that just like in your early days on here (Yes, I still remember them), you used to just make shit up and try and worm your way out of these holes you dig yourself into. You're still exactly the same as you were then, although now you appear to have marginally better typing and grammar skills.

Oh, while we're at it Danny, what number is it gonna be? 1, 2, 3 or 4?

Amazing what Trials Forum can do hey ?

Holes i used to dig myself into ? Shit i used to make up ?

What the hell. Mark. Why bring up the past ? No point is there really ? Live each day as it is. I don't make up shit. I say what i believe in and i am very strong to my word. No matter what anybody thinks about me or what anybody says i will never change that. I have always lived like that and it will never change.

I brought up the past because it was pertinent to the lovely, fun-filled discussion we're having, and to show you're no different at all to the annoying, naive idiot you were when you first joined.

I have always lived like that and it will never change.

So nobody can change there outlook on the reason why they do something then Mark ;) ?

Mark. I said no matter what someone says it wont change it.

I changed it off my own free will. That is not allowed now is it ?

I don't change because some people on an Internet forum seem to think there better than me.

Danny.

EDIT: Naive Idiot ? To be honest with you Mark. I personally think there's another side to you..yet you just show your arse licking little bum boy side on this forum so you get sweet bum loving off your senior members. I seriously think that you think you are better than us. The most amusing thing about everything is. You seem to think you can own everyone on here...I've seen Krisboats rip your ass a few times.

That's a bit disappointing then really, Danny. Through many sources on the internet, I've learnt a lot about different things. Just listening to what people have to say can help you out. Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you shouldn't take notice of it.

At no point have I said you aren't allowed to change your mind. From reading that sponsorship thread where you were completely adamant (no pun intended) you wanted to be sponsored by Deng, and that that would be the 100% best thing ever, and how you said you didn't even like trials, and didn't know why you still rode and so on - the change is pretty dramatic, and seeing as it seems to be pretty much impossible to get you to understand concepts even vaguely quickly I didn't think that you would have completely adopted a polar opposite mindset to the one you used to have. Regarding the "no matter what someone says it wont change it" spiel, how stupid are you? There are people here and in the rest of your life that are bound to have a shitload more insight and knowledge into things than you, and you won't ever learn anything about trials, or indeed life for that matter, if you refuse to take onboard anyone's ideas. More directly related to this topic though, it seems amazing how in all those tens of replies you got that people pointed out how stupid it was to purely ride to try and get sponsorship and how your idea that that would solve all your problems was naive, none of that sank in and apparently you decided, of your own "free will", to adopt those ideas.

Just kinda seems more to me that you were spouting off some tired old cliche to try and shut someone up.

EDIT: Krisboats can do what he wants. I assume that you're refering to the times when he has a go at me for being un-moderatorly (word up...)? If so, I don't really reply to them simply because I don't really give a shit what he's got to say. Having seen how he posts to other people who've done similar stuff, it just sorta looks purely like a vendetta against me to try and have a go, and to be honest, I just can't really be arsed getting involved.

With regards the "I personally think there's another side to you..yet you just show your arse licking little bum boy side on this forum so you get sweet bum loving off your senior members", what other side is this that you're refering to? Equally, I don't really get how me talking to you in this is me sucking up to anyone? Everything I'm saying to you here is just what I think about the situation. I haven't heard from any of the mods or admin in the past...oh...2 weeks or so (I've been pretty much offline looking for somewhere to live which might explain it...), so no, this isn't a bid to try and get them to like me. I've long since learnt that trying to win friends and influence people on here doesn't do anything, so I'm content to just post away knowing that I'm happy with who I'd consider to be my friends, and to know that I don't need to keep trying to win them over so they stick with me or anything else like that. But yeah, I'm intrigued, what "other side" is there to my personality that not even I'm aware of?

Thats where your wrong Mark. The internet is a pile of shit to be honest. People make judgments far to easily. How can you see someone's facial expressions, there body language or anything through a computer. You'l find that almost everybody is not there real self when it comes to the internet and thats what really pisses me off. Im not who i am over the internet and i don't think alot of people are.

Danny.

Right Mark:

This other side which i am trying to explain. Is basically:

You try and act all superior on here and act like you have something to prove (You may not notice this but it comes across that way). Yet i personally reckon in real life...Your a different person. I really do. I reckon your completely different to how you act on here. Which is where the arse licking comes in...Like i said...I feel that you think you are above us normal members or for that matter...think your better.

I'm well aware of that. However, you can still learn a shitload from it. For example, just from listening to what people like Ad Read and Chris Ratcliff on here and other people on other message boards have said, I've learnt a hell of a lot about a lot of different things. I don't think I've learnt everything there is to know, before you try and add some other little dig at me about that, but all I'm saying is that even though you still get twats on here you still get people who know their shit and know what they're talking about. To flatly dismiss everyone on here as being a waste of time because they "aren't what they appear" and so on is pretty stupid. Even if someone's using a false name and false personality on here, there can still be elements of truth in what they're saying.

What people seem to be trying to get you to understand in this thread and that other sponsorship thread is that you need to work out who to listen to on here, and that having opinions that can be changed by what people say online isn't necessarily a bad thing.

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....sult_type=posts

That is a list of my recent posts. You'll notice that between today/yesterday evening, and the 1st of September, I didn't make any posts. In fact, on the 1st September I only made 2 posts (I think, can't remember fully) that were both relating to some little BMX stuff. Before that, I think the other one was the 29th, and was something about my bike being in Mat Hudson's house? I just skimmed through it and didn't really read it much... either way, what I'm trying to say is that I honestly don't give a shit what people think about me on here. Maybe that's why to you I come across as "being all superior" or whatever, just because I don't really give a shit what you're going to think of me (or what other people are going to think of me), and so I don't really get deeply involved in stuff all that often, and might appear to be a bit more transient. Again though, I don't understand what you mean about arse licking, in that I know full well that not many people like me on here, and that that doesn't really bother me all that much? Who would I be trying to win over by doing stuff on here? Danny or Tom?

I don't have to listen to anything they say to be perfectly honest. Just because they think yes think they know more about something than me doesn't mean i should listen to them. May i just ask why you think i should listen to somebody else when what i already think is right in my eyes ?

Danny.

That's the point I'm getting at. It's right "in your eyes", but other people may know a lot more about something than you. I don't really understand how you can't comprehend that? To use a shitty comparison, you go to school and you listen to teachers because they know what they're talking about. Would you just say to them "I don't believe you about _______, I know what's right."? Obviously in some cases that may be the case, but the overwhelming majority of them would lead to you being swiftly proven wrong and probably told to get a grip. That's the same on here. Everyone here has different experiences to you, and will have a different viewpoint. Listening to what they've got to say, then deciding for yourself which aspects of what they're trying to get across are relevant to you, can help broaden your ideas about things. There are going to be gaps in your knowledge about everything - gaps which other people can help you fill (in a non-gay way) - and so to just grab on to an idea with what little knowledge you have about a subject and then totally refuse to listen to what anyone else has to say about it isn't a great way to go about your life. Just think of that old story about the 4 blindfolded people in a room with an elephant ;)

EDIT: Oh, forgot to say, is the age listed in your profile accurate?

Its funny you should say that Mark because i was once talking with a friend.

He explained to me. The giving or taking of knowledge from another person can be done in many ways.

Now if somebody is explaining something they believe to be right to you or showing you something. Fair does your eyes and ears automatically receive this information but it is up to the human body weather to listen to it or not. I don't have to believe it is right nor does is it state that the information my body has just received is correct. It's called a cycle of learning. Information gets passed down through hands. Now say for example. Somebody tells me the best way to build this wheel is 3 cross, now another person believe's that i should build it 2 cross because it will be better. Just because he states that it will be better...Doesn't mean i have to take his advice and use it.

Get what im saying Mark ? Nobody is right about anything to be honest. Because things are learnt or explained or to be known as in many different ways.

Danny.

Quick Edit: My profile age isn't accurate. Im 16 and ill continue this with you tomorrow Mark. Im off to sleep. Take care. Night.

So you basically just took what I said, reworded it, then tried to tell me it? Either way, as I've said 3 or 4 times now, you don't need to take everything as gospel online, but you can learn a shitload from it, so just outright blanking what everyone is saying because "you know best" is a shit way to go about your life. To use your analogy, the other guy might have a good point as to why 2x would be better, and so by listening to what he's got to say on the subject you might save yourself 50gs-worth of spoke weight or whatever it'd work out as being instead of having a fractionally heavier wheel for no reason. So by listening to other people, weighing up their arguements and working out how you can apply that to your own life, you can benefit, which is what I've been trying to get across in this thread, and that other thread before.

Interesting fact: On MSN, I had just predicted you as being 16, not the 20 your profile said.

If a group of people were walking towards you dressed like the following people, whom would you be more intimidated by?

1) chavs.jpg

2) Intermediate-winnersLG.jpg

3) 898415401_l.jpg

4) suits_one_1.jpg

(Couldn't find any decent "suit" wearers...)

felt i should quote that as nobody else has brought it up

and i think im gonna jizz on mark for raising such a valid point.

Just to back Mark up with the "ass licking" that Danny so kindly accused him of.

Moderators and admins do not get paid for what they do. This board is totally free to sign up to, and be a member of. The amount of hassle we (myself included) get off people like yourself, and many, many other members really isn't worth it.

People constantly adding us to MSN; "Validate me", "What does it take to become a member?", "Why have I been warned?", "Validate my mate".

The abuse we are given almost constantly "Ass licking", "Sucking up" etc

Having to trawl through heaps of new members to validate the rare decent one

Looking through all the crap in topics like this, trying to democratically decide what to do.

And following on from that...fair play to Mark...if I had seen this earlier, before he got involved, I would have warned you several times, and closed the topic. You're attitude towards people is disgraceful. 95% of people in this topic are against you, use your head, and learn to back the hell down. Without meaning to sound patronising, its one of the things you'll learn in life as you grow up a bit (and trust me, you can REALLY tell you're only 16)

It was said that the term "Chav" is just a stereotypical label. Yes, it is. But everybody has to make first impressions somewhere along the line...its a natural instinct. And if you're dressed in Rockports, and other clothes that "Chavs" are stereotypically related to; then yes, of course you're going to be classed as a "Chav".

Now, I'm not saying you are or aren't...I've never met you (that I know of), but from the pictures of you I've seen, and the attitude you quite often display, I can see why people would label you in such a way.

You said to Mark he "Acts all superior on here". Of course he does. I do too. Somebody has to keep some kind of law and order in here, or the whole place would go to pot (as has been proven in this topic). At the end of the day myself, Mark, Danny, Tom, Dave, Andy, Tomm, Chris and Jon have a job to do on here, of course we're going to have to stand out from the other members and show some kind of authority, or nobody would respect us.

At the end of the day, its up to you; like you said yourself, nobody can stop you or change you. But you (and its not just you, to be fair) need to take a step back and look at just how good you have it with this forum. I bet if you were put in the position of moderator for a week or so, you'd soon want to be returned to a normal member. We only do it for the good of you guys...we gain nothing from it.

Just think about it.

Danny, you need to learn when to let it drop, people rip into you so much because they know how easily you flare up.

PEOPLE: " :snicker: Hey, that guys a bit gay! :snicker snicker:"

DANNY: "f**king What!?! Don't say that shit unless you've met me, I'll have you!"

I don't like that fact that people give you so much shit, but you do ask for it really to be honest, if you just calmed down a bit and let things go you wouldn't get any where as much hassle as you do know. This argument started because some other guy called you a chav for listening to a type of music, that I also listen too, if you had just let it go, or made some little joke back, then all this wouldn't have come up as much.

The reason people don't like you much is because you do it every time, someone calls you a chav and you rise to the bait like nothing else and feed the discussion so much that it's now at the stage where people are posting pics and analysing chavs.

If everyone calmed down a bit, then it would be all OK.

Oh and Krisboats is a legend, he might rip people a bit on here, but he knows where the line is, you have been calling people c**nts and allsorts in this threas and yet in the same breath your saying how dare people call you stuff, like a chav.

I am now drawing the line under the shit, happy?

Everyone stop the shit......
