pengsmelly
my mate ran a profile on a ti and i dont think he needed to remove anything to make it fit.
eskimo
I pretty sure it's ok as long as you run the snail cams on the outside.
crazy_gap girl
Just give it a wack! lol you cant really make more space. So theres no point taking a case of a few mm's off the sides of your profile.Iv'e had my monty for like 3 years with a king in it and its fine!.Depends if your a harsh rider or not hehe

PaRtZ
im sure i heard somewhere that monty had an unspazzy sized spacing this year on the 221 ti's? could be wrong though
Shez.sheridan
I'm running a profile hub as did the guy before me on my 2005 221ti, and sure as, it's got a small crack in the chainstay on the driveside - but it's never caused any kind of problem & hasn't grown at all even with my cumbersome technique.I think the crack was probably there when I bought it. Pekr!
Just shave 2mm off each side off the profile its worth it in the long run, takes 10mins to do.Stefan.
GyTrials
mate of mine runs a profile on the back of his and it goes in fine with the snail cams on the outsideSteve
omgnoseat
Very old topic, but I didn't want to make a new one, so I'll post it here..I'm about to buy a new rear wheel, which has a try-all hub and I have the option between 42mm and 47mm rims..I was wondering if I could run in on my monty 221PR 07... since I hear all this stuff about weird spacing on monty's.Thanks in advance
Ben Cox
the 47 will fit, the spazzy spacing is regarding hubs not rim size
