Bigman
Being that they are small items, get them wrapped up in wrapping paper and just say you bought them back as presents for your family or sumet....Adam
poopipe
Stick em in your suitcase and in all likelihood they won't even notice. Anything else is like walking through customs with "I'm not smuggling drugs honest" written on your t-shirt Edited September 9, 2007 by poopipe
TomR
If i can get a butterfly knife through customs then im sure you can sneak some bike parts in. Its not like they're illegal, although the shape might look suspiscious on the xray.
fruitbat
Put em in your suitcase, they will not be found.Do not put em in your pockets. You wil be asked to emply your pockets to go through scanners and i'm sure they will query them.I brought back a replica samuri from Spain recently in a box of its own, didn't even ask what is was. Am sure they would have been a bit 'iffy' if they know.Froooty
Fixed Pants™
Take em out the box and oil em up a bit? So it looks like you bought them to the country for a friend to borrow and you're now taking them home. They probably don't know what they are anyway. Muel
Stick them in the suitcase. If they ask, it's a Christmas present. My uncle does it with everything.

(not even mentioning the fact jt doesnt want to start smuggling drugs, and sniffer dogs can still sniff out drugs inside a ck hub.

Sneakers O'Toole
To be honest Uk airports don't seem to be too bothered about taking things out, more concerned with you bringing naughty stuff back. There must be so much stuff going out on Ibiza flights. I got stopped in New Zealand by a little doggy and i hadnt had anything in my bag for over 3 weeks but it still sniffed out the tiiiny specs of dust in there. As for freewheels i think customs have got bigger stuff to be bothered about.
Fish-Finger-er
wait so they cant smell it inside a jonny then?? i was wondering how to get drugs on holiday before i went but decided it would be easier to buy them there ~ it wasntnot to sure if they cant smell it through the johnny. but think about it, a johnnys pretty airtight(you can use it as a balloon) double bag it, itll be even more airtight. and then the shampoo/suntan lotion will cover any residue of the smell, as well as making it harder for the smell to get out. not only that, its a normal thing to take on holiday, and if you got some you need to bring back with you. your bound to be able to get johnnies and shampoo etc over there. Fixed Pants™
Dude, its a freewheel, not 1kg of Cocaine. Or is it?Yeah, i can't see them being too bothered, just make sure you don't try bring drugs in at the same time, leave that for the next trip
JT!
I think we're going a bit off topic.I'm not interested in bringing drugs back from the US.If worse comes to worse, and they find out i'll just play dumb and say i didn't know i had to declair them etc etc.
Dai the Socket
If worse comes to worse, and they find out i'll just play dumb and say i didn't know i had to declair them etc etc.Good plan.I'd just put them in your suit case, they only look for powders and liquids, as well as explosive material in there, they don't care about odd shapes too much I don't think like weapons and stuff 'cos it's being taken into the hold isn't it, so you're hardly going to do much damage with a spiky free wheel from there. hI-OOPS-CAPS
they can do nothing about it, you could probably cable tie a ck hub round your head and still get into the country.dont try that with eno though they may class that as potentially harmful
Krisboats
I went to america when i was little about 9 years ago and put a huge ass air hogs plane in my suitcase . It was like 1/3 of the price compared to over here and they didn't say anything.Similarly when my grandad went to tokyo in february he brought back some digital camera's and other electrical items in the suitcases so he could sell them to friends and neighbours over here.... had somewhere in the region of £1200 worth of stuff in the suitcase and didn't have a single problem.Just put them in the suitcase... they'll be fine.
