Pashley26
Dude its fooking easy ! Make sure the resovior cap is completely flat (spirit level ?) put bit of 10mm plastic hosing on the bleed nipple of the caliper and then get a coke can/bottle and sellotape a spoke to it (firmly !) and then bend the spoke so it hangs off your frame with the piece of hose in the bottle..loosen off the bleed nipple half a turn...Whip the resovoir cap off and then slowly pull the lever all the way back to the handlebars....Do this once or twice then top up the resovoir....Do that between 9-10 times so the system has been fully "bled". Make sure you use Dot 5.1 fluid......9 out of 10 times all you need to do is Zip tie your lever....Zip tie your lever tight and leave it over night. If it still feels shit you probably need to bleed it.Jarrod Edited September 8, 2007 by Pashley26

Toby3448
Dude its fooking easy !Make sure you use Dot 5.1 fluid......I have 4 dot is that ok?
Pashley26
I have 4 dot is that ok?It will say on the bottle. You can but i wouldn't recomend it !It is all down to the Viscosity of the liquid. Lower Dot fluids will return to particles when boiled (due to high use) and will then release water making your brkes feel weak.Viscosity is essentialy the "Thickness" of a liquid.Hope this and my little run through helped !Jarrod
