mountian goat
hey starting out trials and looking to buy a shogun gimp (the name puts me off)! i was wondering is it correct starting at a mod or should i choose stock, also what do you think of the actual bike, i have found it for £199 so hopefully i cant go wrong. Also if 20" is not right for a beginner, i have found a Saracen mad 2 six for £170 which is worth a thought. cheers! BenLeacock™
Maybe try finding a second hand t-bird or t-pro ? Better spec ect.. 04 models if possible, you can pick them up for around 200 mark ! Shogun gimp isnt anything amazing, comes with vee's ect. ( some vee's are better than maguras, but shoguns stock vee's aint ) Look for onza, t-bird, t-pro or t-mag is my advise !

zoo
can u tel me what i should start with, stock or mod? That's a decision you will pretty much have to make yourself,I rode mods because I am only small and I can ride them better. Try to have a go of a stock and a mod to help you decide which you prefer, obviously you can only do this if you know people who have them. J Trials 31
I think you should start on a stock. I have an Onza T-Rex for $650 U.S. It's in the bike pictures thread. Shipping could possibly be a problem, but we could figure it out. It's a very short stock and I think someone at your height would do well on it. When I was that height it was perfect. That's really the only reason I'm selling it. It's too short for me.
