well done to all the british riders it was amazing how focused most of you are

yes, indeed well done to Dan Butler, good result! just a shame about missing the finals Bike looks nice too.

The comp was pretty cool, lots of people watching, the sections were a little easier than I was expecting, but I still managed my usual silly 5s,getting contact lenses soon, so we'll see if that helps! I think actually being able to see where I am going should help

My first lap score was pretty poor, had 3 5s that really ruined any chances, only had one other dab after them. my 2nd lap was better, just one 5 this time and a couple of dabs, managed to get the same 2nd lap score as Vince!!! Thats made my year! I also cleaned the nissan car section both times, I saw some top riders struggle with that (dam tape aye lads ) there was a big crowd too, they really cheered for the British riders and that felt soooo good.

Ended up 18th out of 33 riders, only 3 dabs off ben savage which was cool.

Got a lot of training to do now, off to germany on friday too, being pretty busy at the mo!

OH, also WON a bike!!! In the nissan tent there was a trackstanding competition, I dont think they had realised there would be trials riders there lol! Myself and Ash (trialnoir) got kicked off after an HOUR, Daniel from sweden also got kicked off after a while, but we ALL got a bike!! A kona Dawg Delux 2008 ltd colour worth £1300, best prize I have ever won! (anyone want to buy it? )

we actually watched you clean the nissan section on saturday you were definatly the smoothest over the first set of four polls

I was lucky enough to work with Fred and Mick on the trials all week and it was amazing. I was the runner with Fontenoy's score card when he won 20" and with Benito Ros when he was 20" and its basically made my year seeing the riding. Bugger me they're good. It was also funny to see belay going mad at the observer in section 3 (the logs) did anyone else see it? Did he learn English watching bay watch?

he must have learnt it from an american never saw bealey go nuts but saw benito on the first day shouting at the observer cause they punched the wrong hole lol

What an amazing week!!

Such a great event to be at, downhillers and 4x riders are nutters!!

Felt really cool to be walking down fort william highstreet with the GB team, chatting with oli beckinsale (duno how to spell it!) and scott beaumont!

The sections for qualification were really cool and hard, the nissan section was the dogs!, well happy with my ride on that on the 2nd lap, and my crowd pleasing move!!

Finished in 8th even though i had to stupid 5's, i still recon i was in the tape on one section.

But i rode terrible in the finals, to busy trying to look cool and calm and i couldnt handle the pressure of the crowd! haha. Was cool to have them all cheering for me on the pipes though! ( cheers nick )

I saw Benito shout at the judge "were is the finish" at the semi in the rock section and also kenny 5 at the nissan jeep on his second run cause he went the wrong way but on his first run he went the same way and was allowed to pass through mmm weird. I saw kenny shouting at the bbc camera man in the man made concrete section before he hooked it and the camera man got hauled out the way lol.

Got back last night from a very cold but fun weekend in Scotland,

Would just like to give a big shout to the Onza riders who competed ( Danny, Ben and Rob )

Extra applauds to Danny who was so close to making the final, and also for finishing as the top British rider (10th in th world).
