How'd you Get These Off

ok may be selling my cranks but sheringham trials dont want the cog so im going to take it off only problem is i dont have a clue how to is a 16th onza cog if thats any help it looks like its screwed on but whats the best way of gettin it off,

got a woodvice by anychance?

if so, clamp it on the teeth and let it bite in, then simply twat the crank round.

if you have a normal vice and dont give a shit about the cog, do the same.

well im taking a break from trials so selling up so no dont really care about all the small things cheers ash so just calmp it down and hit the crank seems easy cheers, any other ways would be appreciated

Wrap a small section of chain around the cog first so you dont damage the teeth. Dont hit the crank, put a long piece of pipe on it and twist it off.

best way if you got a normal vice is to bits wood so it becomes a woodvice, then use a scaffolding pole, the longer the better and should come off easy.

bash it with a hammer, or get a bigger hammer.

Rap a plaggy chain round the cog, clamp in the vice, hit the crank arm with a hammer.
