Tomm
On the BBC breakfast news today, there were doing an article about the Fort William World Champs (This weekend) and the sports guy (Chris) was up there riding XC. There were some pictures of the XC and some of the 4x, but no trials or DH. Anyway, they were chatting about it, and he was talking about all the different events, explaining a bit about them. It was something along these lines:So there's the cross country when you have to be super fit, and the downhill which is like downhill skiing but on bikes. The 4x is a real head-to-head race downhill with jumps and elbowing people, very exciting. And then there's the, uh, what's it called? Where they go over rocks and stuff. There was that too. Joe Sheehan!
does it really matter? Its not really that important that a bloke vaguely commented trials. To be honest, i would rather the fewer people know what it is, the better.Otherwise we will just get labeled as vandals that are no better than chavs because all we do all day is "jump on and break walls on those silly bikes with no seats"rant over. Jesus, if people are going to moan, they'll find something to moan about. If its not bashing walls its loud breaks that annoy people and should be labelled as anti-social/noise pollution. At least having the name of the sport would have been good, not just "the jumping over rocks stuff". Ah well, just reflects the guys ignorance rather than the sport really.

BONGO
What do you expect?.... you get bbc for free No you don't. It's the BBC channels that were the origin of the TV licence, because all the other channels use advertising.Anyway, what do you expect?? Trials is tiiiiiiny. If i still rode, i'd be glad. Who wants it mainstream so every twat does it...
