Not sure if you can use that cable giro as its meant for u-brakes, and I'm not sure v-brakes and u-brakes pull the same amount of cable? You can run the front cable through the stem but you don't have to, and it's a bit awkward. The cable has to make a few sharpish bends, which means a rubbish feeling brake, and running the cable through the stem can be annoying.Not sure if you can use that cable giro as its meant for u-brakes, and I'm not sure v-brakes and u-brakes pull the same amount of cable?That's not an issue since the lever dictates how much cable is pulled, not the giro. basher Posted September 3, 2007 Report Share Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) Get one of them hydraulic giro things dave it does the same job as a giro on a bmx but its for hydraulic brakes, i also thought danny mac used one. I think they are forsale on bikedock or chain reaction i cant remember.Edit: well you may aswell ignore me as ive just seen you put at end it will be cable.
