Dekes
how do you like that DMR tensioner?
RobRook
Looks really nice man! I like it!If Im not mistaken, that pic looks like it was taken in St Osyth I might be going down there on friday 7th to ride (as long as the weather's nice..) how do you like that DMR tensioner?I don't know about Alain, but I run the same tensioner, and they're pretty sweet.. I need to tension mine another notch though, but yea they're great & it works perfectly for me..
Dekes
It's just that I'm thinking of getting the same, or the surly singleator because it can push upwards and can neutralise chainstretch a bit. And the roller can take a KMC powerlink whereas a derailer can't.
kid creole
the dmr tensioner ain't to bad but you have to adjust it every few weeks cause it loses tension. its probably worth spending £20 more to get a rohloff

Dekes
the dmr tensioner ain't to bad but you have to adjust it every few weeks cause it loses tension. its probably worth spending £20 more to get a rohloffI have the rohloff but it doesn't fit cause my chainline is too little. It needs like at least 54mm. And it doesn't take 1/8" chains too well, let alone a 1/8" chaine with kmc quicklink which sticks out another 1 or so mm. It must tension well though. I took it apart to grease all the bolts since i'm so anal about my bike components and i had a lot of trouble bolting it back together under the tension of the spring. Endohopper
Good lookin' bike there . How's Schwalbe's Big Betty for grip and pinch resistance ?
kid creole
I love the big betty!! the grip is the same as a maxxis super tacky as far as i can tell and ive had two pinches but they were both harsh landings that i dont think any tyre would have stopped , its a big tyre thou!!
