Does Any One Know The Geo On The Giant Team Bike?

The really old Martin Hawyes one?

It's short, about 1020 and it won't have much BB rise (maybe 0 drop). Someone else should be able to confirm this but not many people ride them any more, and they came out before anyone was that fussed about wheelbases and BB rises.

Yeah we do need to know which model!

Gilly has a black one (the one after the Martin Hawyes one?) and with Ashton forks the wheelbase is about 1040, and it's got a bit of a BB drop, really long chainstays too. He loves it! Get him to give it a measure...

um its the newest one like dark blue and Grey think its an 05 ? not 100% on that

There were only two of the last version made in blue as far as I know - I have one, and I think Robbie Peacock's dad had the other. Chances are it's the older one, like in the photo above, which was probably the same geometry as the first yellow ones. They were made in blue or black - I remember Hawzee had a blue one at the RB Bike Battle in 2003.

I think the latest ones were a bit longer, but I never measured the geometry (or even built it up) so I can't tell you. It's going to be roughly 1020-1035mm wheelbase and around 385-390mm chainstays. BB rise virtually zero, and head-angle around 73 degrees. It'll be a good fun bike to ride though.

Hello people!

Yeah as Tom says, my 2003/4 black Giant is the older model of your blue one, but i believe the only difference between them is the colour, the geo is the same.....

The geo on my one is a 1040 wheelbase exactly, with Ashton forks. There is no bb rise, but rather a bb drop, i think maybe 10 mm? The chainstays are pretty long, i can measure them if you need more accurate lengths, and the frame height is 13.5 inches......

Any accurate measurements you need, let me know!
