eskimo
It's only been a few weeks of having the hub and i already came across a failure. I must have ridden the actual hub less than 20 hours. Basically i came back from the quary and went for a quick street sesh. It was fine when riding along but when i got up to the back wheel it felt oh so slow to engage. Chain was a little slack, sorted that out and checked the tyre for a puncture, spoke tension and had a general look around but it kept doing it before i even got to gap.I was reading that the Rachet is glued into the shell so i suspect the glue has failed. Pretty crap to be honest. When i held the brake and pedaled the cranks just spin Not really too happy now. I read enough reviews and it seemed the only problems were engagement and that was because of lack of maintainence it seemed. But to be perfectly honest it's just overpriced crap. Cnc'd shell and a few ali bits chucked in with peices of tin for springs. So where do i stand with this? To be honest i don't really want a new replacement hub. Plus i've only just built my wheel so the spokes and settled in so theres another £15 wasted. I bought the hub from Select if that's any help.
