Andeee Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 Hey there im currently sanding down my rear try-all red rim which is a pinky colour but its not pink. Basicaly ive used sand paper got a majority off. Electric sander got a bit off. But is there any quick soloutions you lads used?? Waddy Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 caustic soda will remove paint, but it will eat the aluminium before it eats the paint, they use it for removing paint from wood, there is a place near me that strips old doors down and they have a tank full of caustic soda it sounds like tour rim is anodised so some caustic soda will bring it off no problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
