scousertrials
I am going to replace the bearings in my hub for ceramic ones. I want to know what sizes the hub shell actually takes. Cheers fellas.
AdamR28
If you pop them out the code will be on the bearings Might be exploded diagrams on the Hope website too?Word of warning though, ceramic bearings don't like sudden loads (it is brittle after all) - not idea for a trials bike... Dan6061
Where's the need for them though? Not like your wheels are going to spin that quickly anyway...Or is it just a strength thing?
scousertrials
Had them in a hope xc hub before pro2s were out and were super sleek. Very easy to maintain manuals and most moves which required a huge power input from cranks. My mate Ste has them in his xc now and he loves them. scousertrials
Well just to resurrect an old topic. Ceramic bearings fail. I've just taken the pro 2 apart only to find that the two small bearings in the free hub (not ceramic) are annihilated and that the drive side ceramic that i popped in the hub body has a cracked bearing, this is the second time now this has occurred. Live and learn. Was really smooth though. Edited October 29, 2007 by scousertrials
