Alex@Flawless Bikes
I was wondering if an avid ultimate vee brake would work better on my zoo phython then my maggie ,even though it has no cable points on the frame to reduce cable friction? liam-pantera
with a 110 degree noodle and proper adaptors it would be much better for hold m8 but its a completely differnt lever feel its alot more grabby than a magura but the hold is incredible if u have any questions about v brakes you can check my guide il find it and post a link . I would say change as i love mine, but more and more people these days love a really grabby brake and if so then stick to maggie, if you think hold is more important then get a vee for sure. modman
Down with maguras! never had a good one in my life always die on you, get V brake, Remember... V's don't freeze!!! lol oh and they're easier to setup and adjust and have the same braking power.

manuel
have nothing bad to say about my ultimates - EVERYTHING about them is better for me than my magura.... and you can take yer wheel out without letting your tires down... big win. steve's adapters are pretty damn lush too. oh and with the vee i dont need to run a booster either as the pillar mount arrangement is about 100 times stiffer than the poxy little bolts you get with a maggie. eskimo
I run a Deore and it's sick. Soon to upgrade to a XTR though. But to be fair, sealed bearings and a stiffer caliper is definetly worth the buy. I will get one soon..
