with a 110 degree noodle and proper adaptors it would be much better for hold m8 but its a completely differnt lever feel its alot more grabby than a magura but the hold is incredible if u have any questions about v brakes you can check my guide il find it and post a link .

A vee brake isnt grabby at all compared to a magura, but yeah the hold is amazing your brake never slips when your on the edge. I would say change as i love mine, but more and more people these days love a really grabby brake and if so then stick to maggie, if you think hold is more important then get a vee for sure.

My vee is just as grabby, if not better than any magura I've tried...

have nothing bad to say about my ultimates - EVERYTHING about them is better for me than my magura....

and you can take yer wheel out without letting your tires down... big win.

steve's adapters are pretty damn lush too.

oh and with the vee i dont need to run a booster either as the pillar mount arrangement is about 100 times stiffer than the poxy little bolts you get with a maggie.
