Dai the Socket
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions (I've seen a few people who work at the Royal Mail on here..?) to how I should go about posting a guitar that I sold on eBay.I've charged £14 for postage costs, and it's only a £150 guitar, although is in mint condition. I'm sending it in THIS BAG.I'm pretty sure they won't be happy me just sending it like that, plus it's not very safe at all. How should I go about sending it, and can you recommend sending it with anyone in particular who deals with fragile stuff like this?I'm kinda thinking bin bags and tape saying fragile on?Thanks for any help you can give! Oh and I don't have the box before anyone asks..Nick

chrishayton
cardboard box. make one to fit if you dont have one (halfords give bike boxes away) then just put the guitar in its case in there and pack it tight. guitars do not like weight being put on them and react badly to heat changes ( cold vans etc.) so put it in a box to stop it geting knocked. might be easier to send it courier as opposed to normal delivery. Dan Clark
Ask for a guitar box from your local music shop.
