mr_malcolm
I have recently bought a giant stp jump bike, but was wondering if any one knows if it would make a good frame for a trials bike?I have wanted to go stock for a while, but have never had the money to do it. So i was thinking of when i upgrade frames eventually do you think it would be an alright frame to make a trials bike out of?I will post a picture of it soon when I have uploaded them Cheers for your time guys:)Heres a pic Edited August 25, 2007 by mr_malcolm

shogun_gimp
I saw those and i had a go on one. Its fairly hard as its weight is much more than a 26". But you maybe able to do it, i managed to do it.... Edited August 25, 2007 by shogun_gimp
JohnyMilton
Ok, i also ride a STP! and its a brillant frame for everything because stp stands for:S:street!P:Park!T:Trials!and it was desighed by a trials rider aswel! So I would image it would work fine for trials! lolanything else you need to know about it? Token
Yup, the geometry will make the biggest difference. Looks like its got a -20mm bb rise so it'll probably be crap on the back wheel, no harm in trying though.

Tom_
considering the already very very low bb, rigid forks will kill it. It would ride like crap!
