Tommy d
I'd say it's a pretty good place to start. If you're starting from scratch then buying a cheap new full build like that is a good plan, it won't be top spec but at least nothing will be nackered and you can start riding something fairly good.Presumably you're after something fairly long and good for big ups/gaps as opposed to the short flicky variety of trials bike... (cos that's what the phase appears to be)I wouldn't worry about the exact spec, just upgrade each part as you need to/when it breaks. Endohopper
A fine starting platform , and one whose componentry can be upgraded to match your progression / prefferences . It'll be nice to be able to focus upon your riding in the early phase without worrying about mechanical failures / worn parts . I'm quite curious how these ride , keep us updated . monty boi
You need to perfect your balance and control before you switch to 26" its a big step really, alot harder i think.Adam
JonMack
I'd agree with that, work on your bike control, taking your time with runups, etc. and just stick to mod for now, when you get a bit better then you should either upgrade your mod, or have a go on some other peoples stocks and see what you think. Tomm
I don't really understand - you've had the bike 3 days and you're wondering whether to get a stock? Don't worry about it. Mods are probably better for learning on, whatever height you are. Especially because (no offence) you look quite young and skinny, even if you're tall. The mod is fine.
