steve-r
i'd keep the disk hub, aslong as the rim is a normal rim that allows you to run a hs33. At least then you have a choice of running either if you do decide to run a disk
ilikeriding
DISC - bend easily, easier to hit caliper, if its cable its less effort in the case of snapping hoses/bleeding, no need for grindsMAGGIE- snap hoses, effort to grind, if you bend the wheel it will rub unlike a disc, more mounts to threadno disc to bend, wider variety of pads, tpa Edited August 24, 2007 by afroman

If you already have a mag though, i would keep it, as long as you have a gring and some half decent pads rim brakes rule Owen

Except you don't have to grind to make rim brakes rule...So anyway I would say keep the disc hub because it just gives you more options in the long term. Muel
If I was building/buying a new bike I would get a rear disc. But I'm not, so I have to stick with shitty magura.
Greetings
Just get a disc hub so you don't have to re-lace your wheel if you ever want to go dual disc.
