Dekes
I would get the ultimates if i would buy a juicy brakeset, they have CNC calipres i believe and have higher braking force.
ogre
avid brakes seem prety awesome, go for bb7s though there stupidly powerfull get 203mm rotors f+r tehe.
_Owen.
i ride an 07 221pr, and run double disks. got a hope mono trials on the rear, and its pretty awsome, great hold and bite, i would deffinately reccomend them. Also i would say not to go juicy carbon because they arent a trials specific brake, i rekon they are good brakes, but dont have enough hold on them, they bite ok but i would deffinately reccomend mono trials. and the hopes are cheaper arent they?? hope i helped

Dave Anscombe
i would also say go with the avid bb7 run a 203 disc on rear and a 180 disc on the front.......will work a right beast!

BenLeacockâ„¢
no point getting avid ultimates, they are free ride brakes and to good for a trials bike, your frame wont be able to handle them. Plus if you got that money you may as well get avid code's but they have the same problem. You mayas well just get a 180/203mm bb7 or a 180 mono trial

ogre
Why Avid BB7?I don't like Mech brake, doesn't look as goodwould Avid Juicy carbon not work for trials?bb7s have loads of adjustment on them, you can move the pads in + out individually (which you can't do on hydraulics, i dont think) they're cheaper, looks don't mean f**k all compared to something that works really well, and it's easier to get spares if a mechanical brake dies mid ride it's not going to cost more than a 5er to replace cables etc, with a hyrdo theres loads that can go wrong. bb7ftw
Fvil
I take it both Avid Juicy Carbon and Hope Mono Trial are as good as each otherDisk brakes are powerful anywaysI dont think it would do much problems to the framesince its designed for dub diskso I guess its down to price Thankyou all
