The Duck
Right,I hardly ever ride natural, i have been on a short (1030) 07 python most recently, and i just want to know what sort of Geo on a stock would make for the smoothest changeover, or weather it doesn't really make much odds...Spent quite a lot of time on my mates short Pure 07, which felt nice, but i don't know if i'd be suited to a higher BB? The only stock I've been on with a high BB was a +55 A2 which i didn't really like much...I'm thinking to go for a new Czar... Good choice? Please help. Sorry if this comes across as a stupid topic, i just really haven't got a clue.
Tom_
foooooooooooool!spoze your kinda lanky, but still from what iv seen, your about 3000,000 times better on a mod, you couldnt even sidehop that like 1 foot wall at the abbey on a zenith? abtrials
well I would have to disagree with tom123 mate sidehops and back wheels will take a few more rides than just 1 every 2-3 weeks, and lets face it you have only been on my zenith 2-3 times and my pure 1 time, but being a trials rider (unlike tom at the mo LOL) i would have to say that you looked so much more comfy on my pure than your mod. And stuff like sidehoping you are still only just learning on your mod so it will make much difference at all changing. 26 all the way

Joey B
Looks like theres gonna be a big London ride on the 9th of September, so if we can all get ourselves down to that you can try out different geo stocks and see which you prefer
eskimo
Just to say i found alot stuff easier on a stock than i did a mod. Perhaps 'cause it was longer, i don't know? Or the bigger wheels gave me more confidence?

Tim-Hill..Yeah Mate
I made the change from mod to stock about a month back, had a zenith and i thought it rid really nice till i treid out a friends echo hifi with +55 bb rise. feels seriusly immesne! high bb and high bars is very "flicky" makes it feel very close to mod e.g picks up fast, sits on backwheel nice, rear end is easly flicked out.since the change ive been improving quite a bit on all things except sidehops, ive always been terrible at sidehops though, i found its alot harder to land sidehops flat on stock aswell but who cares.Tim. mods
going form mod to stock is about the worse dicision imo. But if it were me i'd prob give the new pure a try.
abtrials
so everyone is saying the pure mate you know you want to?sell your mod bits/ trade for a stock.
eskimo
I enjoyed my Toxsin ever soo much but the fact of a hanger put me back off a stock for a long time now. I'm going to stick with a mod stock for a while. So they're worth the consideration.
Ash-Kennard
actually, i think the controls will be the best, they suit anyones style and you will improve the fastest on that. when you get bored of it trade it for a higher bb frame then
Guest
i love sidehops my favorite move, and i went on my mates pure the other day and i sidehopped around 30" in the space of minutes, and my biggest on my mod i 34", and im a midget like 5ft 3 or sumat stupid like that, so pure for the winbecause the bikes wheels were bigger it made me more confident that i could do sidehops basically, as much as i would love a stock; i just cant afford it Edited August 16, 2007 by braintreetrials
