I run the rimjam v3s at the moment, however ive had to cut and bodge them onto magura backings as ive been through about 4 cylinders because of those stupid backings. The compounds of the pads are quite good providing you have a nice sharp grind, but really, I didn't feel theyre worth the price they are on tarty. Mind you I got mine a few quid cheaper from Joe Maher, and almost every set he sold and including his own snapped or broke a cylinder.

If I were you, i'd look around for another pad until the new and improved rimjam V4s come out :)

blue rocks pads on a sharp grind are awesome, mine have not worn down at all really since i have had them. My only downfall so far being that the grind has to be kept fresh and sharp or they will slip on drops and gaps etc.

koxx brows i really dont like that much to be honnest......ive heard good things about rock pad blues my grind is still as sharp as the day i done it (2months ago) with plazz pads its a medium sharp one!

coustsinks are by far the best pad out thear but at a price every one says well worth it......its just the shock horror of having to bay 30+ for pads.

looks like il have to give the rock pad blues a go are they a harder compound compared to the plaz pads?

thanks to every one

The tall guy on the the ko would be me, and yes my back brake is the nuts as you know. Get the rock pads, just make sure you wheel is in straight or they will rub as there is soo much material.

No one seems to have said yet that this is a known problem with rimjam pads, and they took their pads 'off the shelves' while the problem was sorted.

The pads have been taken off tartybikes for a few months now, however i find it strange that emails weren't sent out to recall them, i assumed this happed but obviously didn't. Anyway, sorry to hear, bad luck. :(
