mods
Right i didn't think this was suitable for pad reviews as it isn't a review. I am running a hs33 on a sharp grind ( 2months old now) with a oil bleed on a ko frame. The brake has always been stupidly good untill today, when it kept slipping, i'm sured this is due to the heat but i'd like to know what you guys think, has anyone else experienced this with rock pads? Matthew_Gibson
Maybe your grind has became unsharp, Tyr a booster??I shudnt think the heat should make too much difference. Just try a new grind. Or wash the rim. Try the search for this, thats your best bet!!
Krisboats
On a smooth rim my plazzies would loose all their hold and would slide about all over the place.Having just been outside in the gorgeously warm sunshine using rock pad blues i can quite confidently say that without a booster, on a grind with a water bleed and heatsink cnc backings these pads work just as well as normal. Bionic Balls
i usually find pads work better when it's hot...except if it dusty...then they go all sorts of liquorice
mods
well the rim is pretty clean, i will try cleaning it, then if that doesn't work re-grind it. just looking at my rim now, one side of the grind is more smooth than the other ? James Quigley
Don't worry shay my brake prefers it a little colder too. Saying that it's probably because I leave my bike in the car in the blistering heat so the water bleed goes all gay.
