Tommy d
Try this, on the tv.isg.giuydv website, meant to be a list of free editing software:http://tv.isg.si/site/free_video_editing_s...r_all_platforms I haven't tried any of those one except the windows one but I'd be interested to see what they're like. Greetings
I'd go for this:http://www.avid.com/products/freedv/index.aspJust given it a quick look, looks like the interface is not unlike Premiere which is very simple to use. You could always use trials, Premiere is 30 days, Sony Vegas is also 30 days I think.Out of the two Vegas is way more powerful, but also much more complicated. ilikeriding
Nothing wrong with movie makerFreezes easily, can't take certain file types, the effects are poor and you cant remove sound from individual clips
Captain Scarlet
Just get yourself some free trials of numerous kinds of programmes. What premiere lasts for 30 days, and Vegas for another 30 as Inur said, thats 60 days combined, and you just install them when you need them I guess. Richard jersey
I don't really think you can get much better than movie maker for free. It works fine for me.
Willy
I'm not promoting piracy Get Premier.

AdamAllen
Freezes easily, can't take certain file types, the effects are poor and you cant remove sound from individual clipsYou can.. took me ages to work out but if you select the clip then go to "clip" along the top bar and go down to audio there's a mute function.. Wayy individual clip muted!Oh and movie maker is fine with a combination of pictures.. grouped effects you can get a good edit.. just make sure you save often as it will freeze regularly.Adam Edited August 15, 2007 by econtrol
