Ash-Kennard
05? i imagine you used up all the tpa thread and it came totally undone, take your lever off and force it back in, use plyers if you need them

Ash-Kennard
doesnt mean you didnt do the tpa too far... the bolt isnt that long, threads can continue forever
Boswell
The TPA ajuster in the 05 magura levers are made out of plastic and thread really easily. Get a 74kingz metal TPA from tarty which are made out of matal. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2065 Edited August 8, 2007 by mr ? Tommy d
i'd turned it to let me have single-finger stoppingWhat do you mean by that? Do you mean your brake lever hits your middle finger knuckle if there is to much draw? If that is the case you could move the lever further up the bars, should be more comfortable and you ought to get more leverage on it i.e. more power... might make your life easier in general if you don't have to have the brake so tight for setting up as well. lil Jsy Chris
I've done it to mine three times, just take the lever of and just force the TPA back on, can be hard but it will work.Chris
Dang!
Get used to it- it's a stupid design on Magura's part to have a plastic threaded part.Easy to fix though, take the lever blade off, grab a set of channel locks or some sort of pliers with a reasonable sized throat.Slowly rotate the TPA (very small increments is all you can expect) in the + direction until it is free of the cross thread situation.I usually unthread it completely, then thread it back on-Now your golden... for a month or so!Or get the 74-kings bit from Tarty's and never worry about it again!
