It was a lad called Dean armstrong AKA dean ArmPong, has he had constant B.O..well thats my little theify story... The xray I had, was stolen by someone taking an axe to the chain and the trials saracen was mugged from me. Me and a mate was cornered and held at knife point so we had no choice but to hand the bikes over. Excellent.I had a bmx stolen once, I found it in the river just down the road about an hour later, found out it was some kid from school you had knicked it for a laugh with his mates, then shit it and chucked it off a bridge. The 15 foot drop onto a virtually dry river meant the frame got badly dented, so I was pretty pissed off. I saw him at school and went sick at him and was kicking the crap through him until the dinner ladies restrained me. I loved that bike as well but it was never the same, it was always felt a bit bent after that and we could never get the rear wheel straight again. And Ash, don't ever let me hear you blaspheme like that again!I've had bikes stolen twice but thankfully neither was my trials bike. First was really upsetting, I had been building it up gradually over a couple of years, had mostly quality parts in all amazing colours and stuff, left it chained up somewhere in Margate (mistake) and it was gone when I came back.The second bike wasn't too precious as I had got it off eBay to replace the above, was an alright ish dirt jumper someone had put together. Left it chained up again, in Southampton (mistake) despite being with a much bigger lock and only for a few minutes! But I got a much nicer Specialized P2 after that cos I got insurance sorted after the first time.But on the whole there are only a very few things in life that would spur me to violence, and meeting someone who had stolen my bike would be one of them.EDIT: to answer the question, what did I do about it, I told the police. They took the details but surprise surprise nothing happened. I gave the details to some bike shops as well cos apparently they sometimes get people trying to sell stolen bikes to them. He kicked and punched my arm but i told him hes not having it. Pushed him and he fell over the bike which pissed him off abit. then he tried to headbutt me, missed, then tried to break my nose. the fanny never got the bike though, grip like a weld me.Funny thing is, I didnt hit him once. if it happened with the XC bike nowadays, they would have to kill me to get it, or have a really good punch to knock me out. Only took about 2 weeks from it being stolen to me having my onza zoot with the insurance money. It really is bloody wierd to think that someone has been in your garage robbing your pride and joy though while your asleep upstairs. Simpson Posted August 9, 2007 Report Share Posted August 9, 2007 Thats weird. .......thats southend.......had 3 bikes nicked from me:- 1st time i was up lying in my girlfriends bed room and just happened to look out the window and was like, "hey look that bike looks just like mine.." and she was like, "no mikes that is your bike...." i was out the door and up the road so quickly! i caught up with him and screamed at him, then he wouldnt give it back so i kicked the shit out of him till he gave it back, shame i didn't have time to put my shoes on really.....- I got out of school and are was some shit trying to ride of on it, so i punched him in the side of the head and he went down like a sack of shit, i kicked him then walked off, scratched the bar end doing it that way though!!! lol- i had like this code lock on it and 4 chavs were trying to break it, so from the top of the road shouted "mate..... i really dont think that is the best idea......." and they all ran away.... i was like wtf.... 4 of you 1 of me.... i thought they might of least beat the shit out of me first!!
