Magnesium Frames And Bikes

How do you get the bikes to stand up?

I'm guessing they have someone with a camera and another to hold the bike, the person holding the bike let go, runs out of shot, guy takes the picture and then the other guy catches the bike? If you look in the pic you can see the guys shadow next to the bike looking as though he's ready to catch it...

light as f**k

is it strong?

I mean as strong as a frame comp like a monty or a koxx ;)

Talking to him on msn, he says it is at least as strong as a koxx.

Good news for me aswell, i get it for £206 woop woop, gotta love jersey.

EDIT: ZHI is also saying that the rear brake on the gold stock with blue rims is magnesium! and still being tested, wow!!!

needs 135mm spacing on stock!!

personally i dont think they look that great, wud prefer if brake mounts were on the top side of stays.

I think there has got to be more to a frame than just light weight. ithink the design could be better. 1.3 is pretty impressive though. just realized it would build to 9.1kgs with my parts on it!!

will wait for other people to test it first ;)

Another piece of engineering excellence.

If they had some more designs I would be very interested, not to keen on the geo either and needs 135 spacing. The rims however are nice, get me a pair of those I think when I get my new lighter wheels.

Be intereseting to see if they can hold up to the harsh abuse of street riding, or if they are comp only, seeing as they weight about as much as a bag of sugar.

Seeing as they are a magnesium alloy, itll be hard to judge strength by the weight compared to usual components because its not been used before. I'd guess that they will be pretty solid, maybe a bit more brittle than other rims?
