Richard jersey
Not foam! i know some people like them but they don't seem to be grippy which grips are supposed to be. Get the Try All rubber. Edited August 14, 2007 by jsy_vibert

Muel
Foam grips are for gayers with sweaty hands.Tarty Griffles ***! Or Try-All, whichever. Tarty Griffles are cheaper and softer though.

Alex@Flawless Bikes
I have heard that the try-all lock on's move slightly (back and forward), is this true!
ilikeriding
jesus, I cant believe theres so many replies in this topic, as long as the grips arent plastic theyre all the same.
rosswaa
im using yeti lock on grips.comfy, grippy and last! the only problem riders would have would be they are pretty fat, but i have big hands so i get on with them well and they look mint on the bike
JoeEden
Hey Hey Everyone!Right straight to the point. I think that you can get some good grips and you can get very poor grips.Monty Foam and Rubber's are just poor i think dmr grips are all pathetic.But... Try all rubber are the bomb.I want to read your views on grips and the best ones and the worst ones!Much Loving Joshtry all lock on all the way. Sam Oliver
Tried loads, then found velo rubber grips from Halfords, they have loads of grip & last pretty well.
Muel
I have tried several pairs over the months, Tarty griffles are by far the best. They are softer than Try-Alls, cheaper and you get entered into a comp for a mint bike when you buy.

Muel
I have tried Try-All rubber, monty foam and rubber, onza brahma and my new Tarty Griffles, the griffles are best because they are available in a softer compound than the Try-Alls but in the same great shape! Dekes
I like thicker and harder grips. I used try all grips as well, they were too hard and not thick enough thus killing my hands.

Mr.trial_dude
Hi,I would choose some VELO grips, cheaper than try-alls and just the same I've used foam grips ,but they are too thin and wear faster than the velo grips ( or try-alls)When you are going for the Try-all grips, choose the transparant grips. It may not look so pretty but they last longer than just normal black ones.(This is true !)Hope i helped a bit .
