NileBrown™
Wheres the play coming from? Does the shell and bearings move along the axle? Edited August 6, 2007 by nile71091

ogre
Checked all the bolts are tight? 'cause disk bolts rattle loose when you first put disks in loctite em? Check the wheel (for loose spokes, or a crack ) Check the disk calliper bolts See if the pads move in the caliper?
NileBrown™
Im not too sure... ok....Well basically on my non disk rear echo, my shell and bearings kept on moving along the axel. This was because the hub was designed to be used with snail cams on the inside and that would be used as a spacer. However because I have a Zona Zip, theres no snail cam screwholes which means I have to use tensioners. So, because the snail cam spacers were not there, it meant the hub would have a tendancy to move around along the axel. So one day, I busted down to my local wilkinson's and bought a pack of curtain spacers that would fit snug on my axel and it solved the problem That was a 39p bodge that actually worked! Tim-Hill..Yeah Mate
ok....Well basically on my non disk rear echo, my shell and bearings kept on moving along the axel. The ones you get on them are weak and they dont hold the bearings in! orrr just live with the wobble...Tim.

Alex-Mitchinson
I have the exact same problem with my adamant fixed hub, i cant use snail cams because there isnt enough adjustment on them and if i take a link out my chain it becomes wayyyy to tight. I am using chain tugs so i guess this is why I have the free play then. Is it ok to leave it how it is? If not where should I put the spacers? Fixed Pants™
because there isnt enough adjustment on themhttp://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=34 ?Or would they not pull back enough? Fair play if it's them not pulling back enough.
