monty boi
Hope m4 look silly, get an Avid they look Amazing and have great lock and bite , or get a Hope Mono Trial mine are working awesome at the moment.Adam
Simpson
Arn't they both a bit excessive for trials? the M4 is silly big, don't really know too much about the juicy but there mostly on jump bikes? pick between a Avid BB7 or a hope mono, mono mini, mono trial for trials disks usually
coolbeen
Hi i would say go for a hope mono mini 180mm because this a great brake and it does what it needs to do for trials or get the trial spec one. Don't get the M4 to big for trials and is over the top for what you need it to do.Hopes this helps you
Tomm
Don't get the M4 - Get either the Juicy or a Hope Trial brake (or of course the BB7 and save some money). I run a Juicy and I love it, can't fault it at all. The power of a BB7 but with decent modulation, plus a nice lever feel. Pretty similar to the Hopes and a good deal cheaper. It might be worth considering the Juicy 5 also - I don't know how they compare to the 7s in terms of power (they should be similar), but I think the main difference is the 'bite-point adjustment' on the BB7s, something I've never really used on mine.
