Tom_
orrr dont run a bash, put your crank arm in a vice, get a massive adjustable and a freewheel tool (maybe even a bar for even more leverage) get the freewheel off and run a bash ring
Bionic Balls
bashguard is sooooo much better than bashring!

Tailz222
You can do what i've done, i've taken the bash plate off and cut the mounts off so u hav a smooth tube and dont run bash plates at all, only use a bash ring.makes you a smoother rider gettin up things not relying on your bash plate
Walleee
Drill the bolts out using a good strong steel drill, you don't want a very sharp drill as that won't be easy to control, a blunter drill will cut slower and allow you to stop and start. try and remove as little aluminium as possible, if any at all, and then tap the hole's a thread size bigger, take it slow, and make sure that the new bolts you puit in arn't too long, otherwise they will end up breaking inside and your back to square one. (believe me that is f**king annoying)

Muel
Chop as much of the bash away with an angle grinder, that should relieve any tension it it and you should be able to get them undone.Thats what I had to do on my last one. Muel
But it would help though. You only need the head on the front bolt, on most frames you can get at the rear bolts from the other side. What we did on my mates T-Mag was to chisel the soft bash away from the bolt, as it was seased and stripped the head, and clamp it with mole grips once all the bash material was filed/bent/chiselled away. aener
the bolt snapped right against the frame? any ideas on removing it?Get one of the old, rounded-off alan keys.Superglue it to the bolt, and let it set.Unscrew and become unskrewed. ManxTrialSpaz
Could always go to extremes and cut the mounts of and weld a bash to your bike??......
Tom_
or just not run a bash?i mean these days its not very often that you go to bash plate, a ring will cover all your needs protetion wise, bash plates are so unecessary, stuff to bash looks lame anyway.just get a bash ring and dont run the bash plate.
