Mowgli
Got back into trials in december 06 got an 04 pure and slowly bin upgrading, stages shown by pictures. The bike i bought--( Cheers to Mark from Southampton)Before this pic i changed the rear rim (D521 to Ronnie) both tyres and front brake(magura julie to hope mono mini on 203 rotor), bars and stem and rear mech (ss tensioner to tiagra mech). This arrived...............including new cane creek headset and new bb.Got it together.......Rode it for a bit....Decided i needed shorter forks (old pure forks to '07 urbans) and a fresh grind....After grinding the rim thought i would tidy up my bash guard...Am happy with how it is now, should keep me up to scratch for the rest of the hampshires this yr.Am thinking about boring out the holes on the ronnie by a few mil. Anyone done it before, will it weaken it?Let me know what you think.Regards
matt rushton
My Holes are drilled out more on my Ronnie but I didn't do it. Shouldn't weaken the rim too much.Matt Rushton
