Don't throw a bike out just for the sake of it! What's wrong with it? My guess is nothing...in that case keep it 'till the frame dies, a new bike is not going to make your ride better. My pitbull is 2.5 years old now, it's fine and I like it. If it's your parents money, they decide wether or not you get a new one, if it's your money do whatever the hell you want.

Have you changed any parts? Guessing you ride a T-Pro - (infact this goes for most Onzas) Change the forks as soon as. They are as heavy as funk. Not only will this make your bike lighter but it will also make it lose its 'old factor'. If you have changed the forks - dump the bar + stem etc. Much cheaper to buy new parts than dump an entire bike because you think its old.

Depends on how you ride it. If you want to replace it for the sake of having new parts, I don't think there's any point. If you fancy a change because you're bored of the same geometry or want to try something new, do it. Most of the parts on my bike are 1-2 years old, only change them if they break or I'm fed up with their geometry.

Exactly, I rode stock for a year, got bored of its geo, and size. Rode me mates mod and was amazed at how flicky and light they were compared to my stock.

Now had my mod for 3 months and still loving it.

Id only replace my frame if it snaps.

Components same as really. Or if something new comes out that catches my eye/mechanically(sp) better than what i have at the moment.
