trialsguru Posted July 30, 2007 Report Share Posted July 30, 2007 does anyone know how to run a screw on sproket on shimano hollow tech cranks? really tempted to try them just want to sort out costs etc.is anyone running them? how strong are the cranks and shimano spline bb's? Janson Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 Marco Blau (vtcz.ch) put threads on hollowtech cranks years and years ago. I believe he used a lathe, mounted the crank and machined the spider thingy off.(this post expresses my opinion and does not express the opinion of the company i work for, silly work.)
