Maguras And Different Fluids?

nope, water has air disolved in it, the only way to get rid of that, is to boil it, try it, will give an even stiffer brake!

All boiling water will do is turn it into steam. To get the "air" out of water you would have to use electrolysis which would turn the water into two gases Hydrogen and Oxygen. Neither of which would be any good to bleed ur brakes with.

Scientist chris at work people! Boiling the water would purify it some what so you would have extra pure water in your brakes!

Also chris to get the "air" out of the water you would have to de-ionize the water, which would give you water in it purist form, but doing this will increase it Viscosity which is the oppiste effect of what you want!

water and anti-freeze ***! makes the brake less spongey and you can bleed with water without a bleed kit (bleed them in the bath)

But then you have to reset your break and it also increases the chances of threading the brake mounts.

Just use oil, its what it was desinged for.

No need for antifreeze, its not asif it minus 30.

jack Daniels or vodka, as ethanol doesnt freeze :)

good idea or what!

if i used that and my brake hose split i'd be pumping the lever so fast with my mouth over the split! don't want to waste any do you.

couple questions and answers:

how do you get wd40 through your hose as its in a can

ive never had a oil brake i hate them they just feel slow where as water feels responsive and so much better

if you did put vodka through your hosing wouldnt it sod up your seals

also if you fell off and split your hose at least you have a shot to ease the pain lol

and yes you can bleed a dengura but it is not recommended to bleed with water apparently which is why i wont bother with one
