Helmet Advice

Recommended Posts

Well well, I feel the time has come to purchase a helmet as i like my head being intact :)

So basically I'm looking for a nice helmet for my bonce that will save my life or at least boost my confidence a bit :) - looking for something quite slim, lightweight and neat fitting, nothing to bulbous or silly wide if that's possible...

So if anyone has any advice then just holler back.

Cheers,

Rob

^^ ^^ ^^ as he says, if you cant really afford to push ÂŁ80/90 for a Xen go for the "sister" helmet which is the Hex, Cool/Sleek looks ÂŁ50 ish or summit. worth every penny.

Uses "Roc-Loc3" to hold it to your head which is same as Animas (which RRP's @ÂŁ70) and similar to Xen and E2, comfortable as you like, it doesnt feel like you have got it on your head (Y):)

I used to use a Giro E2 and loved it, I still have the E2 but as it was a few years old went out and bought a Giro Xen as a replacement.

Both are awesome lids but I prefer the fit of the Xen.

At the end of the day go into a shop and try on different helmets, everyone's heads are different shapes and you need to have a lid that you are comfortable wearing (Y)
