Brake Mount Adaptors?

Simple answer; get a disc.

Complicated answer: call up ison distribution who do all the identity and gusset stuff, pretty sure they do an adaptor for frames, might have one for forks aswell. Also worth checking out evans cycles.

More complicated answer: see if you can find someone local or give Gary at Curtis or Clive Leeson a ring and ask if they can weld some bossess on for you.

Identiti do a clamp on break mount you could use. I'd imagine they could be used on forks other than the identitis with the right shimming. They're 24.99.

As rich said you could get some mounts welded on if they're steel, if not disc is always an easy way out.

I got Dave85 (Edd Potts) to make up a simple design of mine so I could run 24" wheels on my 26" Base frame I had. Maybe he could do the same for you?

I've got a list of design improvements I will be passing onto him so future versions he makes can be better.

Cool idea Steve, though the suggestion of bolt on mounts sounds good - do they not move at all?

They just don't look trustworthy :)

I'm running disc at the moment and just don't like it - looking at Avid Juicy 3's though. Mine's probably crap because it's cable - just wanted Magura's to be honest!
