Matthew_Gibson
I need a new rear wheel/rim, But I might get a full wheel. I was thinking of the Profile hub, buts its a tad expensive. So I'm now sticking with my freewheel. What hub to get? I have an Echo fixed now, its pretty old. As its screw on, But all the new ones are splined. Are the bearing anygood? what about the Onza hubs like? bearing wise. Or shud I fork out on a King/profile to get better bearings? Also while I'm here I have a Tensile freewheel. WHen the right hand cranks are at the top the chains tite. and when its at the bottom the chains very very loose! need cleaned? Thanks!!!! Muel
Your chian problem is because the crank isn't mounted to the bb exactly square, and the freewheel isn't mounted exactly square onto the cranks, and the sprocket isn't mounted exactly square onto the rear hub, and all that creates high points and low points in the system. As long as the bearings in your freewheel are smooth and tensioned correctly it won't need rebuilding.
