Todge
Ive really not ridden properly in a good few months. Whereas I ride the xc bike every day, and getting back on the trials bike just feels f**ked up.Also, my life has become more hectic, with greater priorites in it, such as uni. I wont be getting rid of the bike anytime soon though, as I know when I get back to uni Ill be out every week riding with the guys there. Mainly street orientated rides, with bmxers, jump bikes/ trials bikes etc, and its so much more fun then going on a ride with fellow trials riders alone, because its all so repetative these days. Brian Bleech
I always find it odd when people say they get bored of trials because it's doing the same stuff over and over again, just do different stuff... it's not hard!
selby1
Well, Recently i have been finding it harder and harder to truley get in the mood to ride my bike properly.I am getting bored riding the same spots over and over and aberdeen is also becoming wank to me....Its just making me not want to ride my bike... and its not like i just sit about as i am a fairly capible rider.Meh anybody else been like this ?? Also i can't drive and am 9 times out of 10 unable to afford many train journeys plus food and drink.i feel exactly the same and am getting so bored of trials all together i stopped for a while just because i couldnt motivate myself at all everything was just getting boring( i.e same spots/ same people/ same rutine day in day out)plus jue to having a g/f which was more fun but she's no more. and now i'v broke me foot not good, anyways i was thinking of buying a bmx because it seems more chilled out and less expensive but not too sure, ahh well anyways your not the only one feeling like this, its shite init cheers mark. eskimo
I find the less time you have to ride your bike the harder you go at it. Get a job and you will savier (sp?) the few hours you have riding.

Tommy d
Basically the answer is like people have said, branch out into a new riding style. If you're bored of sidehops (just guessing from the name) then try spins. And like someone else said, make lines out of stuff. You can stay in one spot for hours and not do the same thing twice! If you're stuck for new moves to learn, there's a whole sub-forum of videos I guess the extreme version of the above would be get a bmx... would be a shame to waste your finely honed hopping skills though, just get a shorter more fun trials bike and mix it up Granted it's hard if there's a lack of other riders. Find more? Get them to your town? Or earn some money and get the train, where I live the amount of riding goes up by about 5 times if I pay up to a fiver for a train fare.EDIT:unable to afford many train journeys plus food and drink.Take it with you!!! Fill a backpack with a couple of bottles of water and some bread nicked from your house = basically free rations, keep you going all day. Mat Smith!
Get a job and a girlfriend, that will stop you riding so often, and when you do go out and ride, try something new, try doing new lines, for example on natural you can do the same lines over and over, do them backwards or something, make it a little harder, try not to bash and work on ur balance, and learn to manual, go for miles, it looks fun haha.Matx
