ilikeriding
cook the pads, cook the disc, dont burn the pads though
Mike Beck
Boiling hot soapy water for the disc, soak for around 15 mins, then put in the oven for about the same time.Simply cook the pads as said above, but don't over cook them lol.For better braking performance, assemble together, try hot water on the disc and ride around or down a big hill with the brake on .lewis
Sam O
Clean the disk as best as you possibly can; wipe it all clean with soapy water and then cook it for a while in the oven. For the pads put them over the hob for a bit so that the oil can burn off. Afterwards try and sand them a little as this will remove any surface oil that may be left on the pad. If none of this works then you will probably need new brake pads as the oil has seeped to far into them for cleaning.Hope I've helped
MadManMike
Ride really fast downhill and pull the brake enough to warm it up but not slow you right down - burn any crap off!I've never had wd40 on it but stuff like coke seems to come off easy - I know oil is different, but if you haven't spilt much it should come off ok
Mansonatic
Hi there, I did something pretty similar to mine! but it involved oil I gave the pads a quick sanding with some harsh sand paper, preferably the green textured sand paper, and sanded the pads down until they we're fair harsh. After that i washed the disk with hot soapy water and did the usual bedding in process of riding with the disk on and covering it in water etc untill it was steaming .
