The Cycle Show 2007

The Cycle show ask us for a competition not a test area. The Cycle show supply a test track, maybe not a trials course but somewhere to ride. To answer your question in a fully 'washable' fashion. The Cycle show do not want the public riding on our course. It would be a loverly idea if we were allowed to, Had the test bikes, Time, Space and man power to do so.
Point taken. it takes time for certain things/happens to materialize. bmx had to wait 3 decades(30yrs plus) to get to this point of being granted olympic international status. ps, i stopped by Evans Cycles a few days ago and saw trials bikes in store (plus a few dedicated bmx rigs like Wethepeople). id never thought id see that...even though they are just trying to capitalize from generated olympic impact.

Well i guess if the chances of us non comp riders have as much chance of riding this course as pigs flying, then we should at least have a london group ride going on the last day. question is if this does happen, will riders be able to bring their bikes into Earls Court and have them secured until the event closes. assuming riders are up for that and dont mind trekking to central london. otherwise ill try and some challenging rideable stuff near the exhibition centre on my days off work and post pics.

i think its gonna be Aurellien Narses, he's an ex french champion, and currently rides in the french elite catogory, good lad too!

he's not confirmed though, he's working away at a trials academy in the alps and so has not recieved his invite yet, but i know him pretty well and think he's say "oui" lol

YAY! I'm going, deffo (as long as i can) was so good last year, and i'll be 16 so i won't need an adult with me to have a go on the bikes (couldn't go on it last year :()

2:32 on the vid, front left, me and my friend paul (doesn't ride), i'm in the white/grey shirt, friend is in yellow! I'm so famous!

Will take my bike along, hopefully i'm a bit better by then.

Damn! i will be 10 days short of being 16. Will it be the final round on the sunday?

Sorry, but (purely my opinion) that looks gash as hell.

Looks cheap and tacky, and could be a lot nicer...

Have to agree it does, but i think it may appeal alot to younger riders who are most likely to buy the bike anyway. The dropouts look good may be could have been machined abit more to loose some weight and look bit nicer.

It looks way better in real life, as ive just come from Cycle Show about 40mins ago. dont know why the trials comp happen so early in the morning/afternoon as i missed most of the action. only got to film the 20in demo and presentation at 4pm. hopefully julien(trashzen) got more video coverage than me. rest of the show was ok with some nice products to see and test.

So, for all of us who didn't make it to the last day. What were the results, ranking etc... I assumed it would be posted somewhere...

Right, Wow. I'm just about recovered from it all now. Would like to say a big thank you to all that rode and all that helped.

Well done to Dan and Ben for winning and also a big applaud to the whole Onza team.

Andrei Burton has put together a short video of him on his new Limey2 and it shows just how challenging the course was in Earls court. Link below.

Once again thanks to all that helped and it would not be possible with out you.

Cheers
