Muel
I thought they were going to be blue? What are the upgrades?
JonCongreve
Don't really like the colour, but other than that they look good. They look like they have more support around the ankle, and the material is different as it is meant to be longer lasting. Bit pricey though
Token
Ha I phoned you guys last week and you said it'd be about 3 weeks till they came in. Lies I tell you.So it looks like they are made out of suade? Not sure that is very waterproof but hey (i take that back, apparently it is), if it's longer lasting then that's always a plus. Grey is abit bland though. Edited July 25, 2007 by Scopse

AdamR28
Suprised the looks are getting so many bad comments! Here's a set being worn:Upgrades:- Suede material is more flexible and durable than previous models, also waterproof.- No side windows to prevent damage for those who curl their feet over the side of the shoe when sidehopping, also helps prevent water ingress.- Larger heel patch with new shape to help resist against crank rub.- Velcro ankle strap with built in protection (not to be confused with support!) can be adjusted to tailor the feel/fit of the shoe even further, previous models had a neoprene sock which tended to go 'baggy' over time.- They don't look like disco boots The colour is understated we think, surely that's better than bright yellow/blue/red?CheersAdam
Token
The colour is understated we think, surely that's better than bright yellow/blue/red?CheersAdamThey do look alot better being worn but maybe you forget the amount of people that like having colour co-ordinated parts on their bike. Im not sure if grey is really "in" at the moment so maybe that's why a few people are sceptical. I'll phone today to get some once I've been for an interview, but aslong as they do the job and they don't fall apart after a few months then I'll be a happy bunny. AdamR28
Yeah, I agree that people like to colour co-ordinate (all I have to do is look around me for a reminder), but having a red shoe (for example) means anyone who doesn't have a red colour scheme won't buy them! Grey goes with anything. Fashion smashion

Ash-Kennard
look alright, much better looking with a foot in them. but 80 quid is a joke.
AdamR28
80 quid is a joke. Why's that?
Ash-Kennard
way too much for some suede, a davos sole, a clip and some velcrothey have simplified their design from the last models and bumped up the price Edited July 26, 2007 by ash-kennard

Janson
I think they look tonnes better on a foot, and will probably look less tacky when covered in shit and mud. Just like the previous space boots. Also, 80 quid isn't too bad for a pair of shoes...
hugh_b
I think they look pretty cool guys, i can vouch for the suede material aswell, i ride nearly everyday and my suede ribo's havent really worn (touch wood), i also rode with them in the mud and rain at the last YMSA and my feet were pretty dry + they came up like new afterwards. Also remeber these are the "proper" ribo's and this style of shoe seems to be harder wearing than the other designs such as the old black ones i had. basher
but if you read above they have simplified there designs to make it better for riders ?But if you get some skate trainers then you get some super comfortable trainers and probley half the price aswell. And last years.

Waynio
LMAO!!!!This cracks me up "REAL" Ribo shoes? why wheres all the fake ones? at the end of the day i only use "trials" shoes for WBC, but i have to admit, some shoes look better than others, and peoples tastes differ.i remember Ali C wearing a pair similar to these, they looked like he had slippers on!!!! the Ribo Ksas ones that are White, now they "LOOK" like a normal everyday "trainer" style shoe, the ones Ben Savage has had on. not some Monty/Koxx/Ribo pixie boot Wayne. PaRtZ
I cant wait to be honest. I really dont find normal skate shoes comfortable to ride in. Maybe its because Im used to ribos but meh... I like the slender fit
