Fixed Pants™ Posted July 24, 2007 Report Share Posted July 24, 2007 Sorry for short notice, it was only aranged this evening, i'm going to stay at my sisters in canterbury for a coupla days, need peoples to ride with!I've got friday planned already, i'm riding with Jack (Euro Braker, doesn't use the forum anymore)So yeah, maybe 1 day out of the few i'm there i'll be fishing with her friend (probably saturday) so mainly, anyone wanna ride thursday? Anywhere close really, sisters got a car so transport isn't a problem (i hope).That was a pigs ear of a post but i think people get the idea.Python man, i'll probably give you a call tomorrow or something? Although have you seen the weather forecast... Are you still gonna be riding if it's wet? Might get away with it as it never rains round here (A) So where do we reckon? I've never ridden Canterbury, although I heard rumours long ago that that's because there's nothing to ride there. I'd be interested to find out though, might need a guide. Is this Jack a Canterbury person?Never ridden Whitstable either but I'm up for that, Herne Bay is quite good, so's Ramsgate (lots of sub-1 foot stuff there ).That was a pigs ear of a postYes, yes it was.By the way if transport does become a problem, Ramsgate is easy on the train from Canterbury. Tommy d Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 Cool. For tomorrow (Thursday) I will probably be ready to ride at like 1 or 2pm. Got stuff to do in the morning. Fat Pants I shall PM you my mobile number (and anyone else who wants it). A good place for someone to find in a car is probably Ramsgate harbour, and just stop anywhere on the sea front. There's riding all along the sea front at the top and bottom of the cliff. Often we meet at the four rectangular wooden benches which is a stone's throw from the harbour.Just phone someone if you're having trouble finding stuff. But like I said I probably won't be out till early afternoon so maybe someone else if youse lot are going earlier. And if it's pouring with rain, likewise I think not. Showers ok.I should be able to do Folkestone on Friday as well, haven't ridden there for a long long time.Don't think Gilly can come though, he's got work and stuff. He might be out Sunday though, who knows...Oh, and most importantly, I have LOTS of bike parts to sell. I've just taken Ali's bike apart and it's all gotta go. So if anyone wants anything, ask away and I'll bring it. I think my mums gonna be giving me some decent lootage, maybe 100 or something, so i guess i could buy some shiznik, but my sister is a student so i can't leech off of her when i run out. Meh. That car is beast. He's a crazy driver too, he plays the truck game, where he slipstreams a truck and then about 1 second before we crash into the back of it he slingshots out of it and gets a 10 odd mph boost, crazy fool.
